I recently had a colonoscopy performed by Scott Vigor. I was very impressed by his very competent manor - in spite of my having a long tortuous colon! we learn something every day, and this certainly explained why I’ve been feeling the way I have for so long! All of the nurses were extremely kind and supportive and the whole area was spotless and well run. Scott was excellent and I felt very confident with all he did. Thank you

The receptionist was good and diverted me to the right location for the procedure. The nurse in the clinic was also very nice and polite and arranged everything what was needed for my procedure. The place was clean.

Today I had a gastroscopy in the endoscopy department at Hemel Hospital. I was extremely nervous about the procedure but I needn’t have worried. The staff were all lovely and took the time to explain what would happen and options to have with or without sedation. I decided on sedation but was still very worried. The Endoscopist, Diza, listened to my concerns and asked if I had any further questions, I found her bedside manner extremely reassuring and at no time did I feel rushed or under any pressure. The procedure it self was totally painless and although you are not fully asleep, I felt comfortable throughout. All in all, i would highly recommend this department at Hemel Hospital.

Everyone I came into contact with during the colonoscopies I had were polite, caring and professional. I felt very relaxed and comfortable during the procedure and was kept informed with the progress at all times. I would especially like to than Dr Macfarlane for his expertise and the follow up calls to make sure I was OK. 10 out of 10. Thank you, Dens Cook

I visited the Urgent Care Centre at Hemel Hempstead Hospital on 17th May for an injury to my big toe. The entire visit took under an hour, and the nurse who provided my care (Jude) was an absolute pleasure. She made me feel completely at ease despite being in a lot of pain and despite my fear of needles. The hospital was very clean and all the members of staff were friendly and helpful.
