I always request to be treated at Guy's no matter what the problem is whenever the GP requests a referral. I have previously had my first and only operation here 10 years ago and due to the professionalism have not had to have another, even though my condition is of a recurring nature. This is a World Class hospital from our wonderful NHS

I am so pleased with the Care I I received from the trust. The Doctor identified the issue quickly and was able to suggest a course of action. Once I decided to go ahead with the operation things were fairly smooth after that. The operation was a huge success and I am very grateful for the doctors and nurses of the trust

I had a partial nephrectomy for kidney cancer at Guys on the 28th July under the care of Mr.Khan and his team . Mr.Khan showed me care and gave a clear explanation pre surgery and post surgery . His team visited me twice during my stay and were informative about my procedure . Mr.Khan and his team are exceptional . A mention to Hanni the anaesthetist who walked me to theatre reassuring me all the time and putting me at ease , he was fantastic . The Sister in the admissions lounge was outstanding she was extremely caring and took the time to reassure me along with care towards me before theatre . A special mention to my CNS nurse Kristina who works alongside Mr.Khan . The nurse on the ward at Guys were caring at all times . A huge thank you to Mr.khan and his outstanding team .

I came in for a kidney operation on the 24th of July, from the day I was diagnosed, to operation and post operation Dr Khan has been very great. He listened to me and and explained all my fears and worries. On the day of the operation he came to see me and reassured me of the success of the operation. I felt safe with him and his team and they did a wonderful job on me.Am happy and very grateful to God and to the whole team that performed the surgery, from the the operation room to the recovery ward am very grateful to all of them.

Most impressed by was the communication to all of us patients by the Sister in Charge. It was helpful for her to encourage us to ask our position and not just be passive in waiting. Staff friendly, approachable and very reassuring.
