I was to express my gratitude and share my experience of having had referral and then surgery and physiotherapy. In all my interactions with the NHS staff, whether receptionist, nurse, doctor or surgeon I have received a kind and gracious treatment that has taken into account my disability and appointment times. As a priest I have had to have specific times to ensure I am able to carry out my ministry and I was very kindly accommodated, even to being seen before official opening times to ensure I was not late for a funeral service I was taking. I would very much like to mention Mr Gidwani, Mr Alexander Vaughan, Sister Julie, the Physiotherapist Rachel and both of the anaesthetists for my surgery whose names I have sadly slipped my mine. The surgery Nurse was also very kind and ensured I was comfortable at all times. They have been superb in my treatment, having a great sense of humour, being kind and giving clear and succinct advice. It is a great privilege to receive such a high standard of care from the NHS and I do commend the staff for their gracious manner in these difficult times. With my thanks and gratitude. Shalom Revd Gordon MacBean
