Share review of Guy's Hospital
I think Guys is a great hospital and I'm lucky to be a patient there. I am generally very happy with the clinical care I receive there. The spine school was very helpful to attend prior to surgery. I did have to chase up quite a bit on information and appointments concerning my tests and operation. However I didn't think the input from physio dept has been great post surgery - i.e. physios on the ward or in rehab - they didn't seem very aware that I'd just had surgery when I went to rehab appointment and it was all quite rushed. I expect this is due to understaffing. I wasn't too sure about some of the exercises they were giving me 6 weeks after spinal fusion surgery so I've seen a private physio. The OT was very good on the ward and gave me lots of very helpful information.
