My 86 year old mum was treated with great care, respect and good humour by the team led by Miss Patel. We did not have to wait at all, everywhere was clean and the nursing staff were lovely. Wonderful treatment all round!

The colonoscopy team at FGH we’re brilliant. I was extremely worried about rather procedure but the team carried it out with dignity, compassion and professionalism. I can’t thank them enough.

After spending a month on ward 9 they still can't really tell me what is wrong with me. My specialist said he wouldn't rush me out of the door yet the next day while he was off a doctor I had never seen discharged me...I had exactly the same issues that I had a month earlier when I checked in, yet nobody seemed to care and it looked like it must be part of their bonusable objectives to rush people out of the door...Every time you ask a question you seem to get a different answer depending on who you ask...They also screwed up my prescription, told me face to face to get it from my GP yet that wasn't possible as they didn't write the medication on the discharge letter...When phoned to check was told, once again a different answer than the day before...Dont you dare ringing your bell as no one cares...One of my roommate was forgotten about in the toilet for over 30 minutes...Some of the young helpers and nurses were nice and friendly but there are quite a few who could do with some in depth customer service or maybe change job and train in a job that doesn't involve caring for others when they clearly don't...

All the staff on the day unit are great.They kept me informed and treated me with dignity and respect. Lovely staff. Highly recommended

Excellent care received by a dedicated team of nurses.
The ward was clean and the food was of a high quality.

I was so impressed with my whole experience when I had my collar bone fixed after my skiing accident. All the staff I encountered were friendly, caring and considerate not just to me but to all patients on the ward ( day surgery unit).
