I want to say a massive thank you to all the staff on the day surgery unit who looked after me recently whilst I had gall stones. I expected to go home and have to wait out in pain until I could have my gall bladder removed. Dr Warsi had a last minute availability and got me in, I was so relieved and after a weeks stay in hospital I was discharged hours post op to go home to my 2 young kids, who's birthday party i had been planning from the ward with the nurses help! The ward was always clean and the staff were always happy to talk, any time of the day or night! Whilst I had some coordination issues with blackburn hospital during my visit, the staff were there to comfort me when I was struggling mentally. Thank you all so much for taking good care of me when I was at my most vulnerable
