My 1 star reviews weren’t published so I’m trying leaving 5 stars to see if this works. Honestly, I wouldn’t even give 1 star. Was taken up by ambulance with my heart racing and left arm pain. Got dumped in A&E reception and left after making me walk there. Begged for help when my heart climbed to 180 and was told to calm down and wait - when I was struggling to breathe. Had to sit on the entrance floor for 2 hours to bring my heart down to 125-135. Walked through to SDEC - and left. No explanation as to why this happened. Told the nurse my heart was going to fast and was told someone would be with me shortly. Despite the hospital knowing about my allergies, no one did anything when I started to have a reaction when I was in the waiting room. It subsided once I left the room but, still, I was told to walk outside and return to A&E. No care, no treatment, no test results, I didn’t even get to see a doctor. Ended up coming home. At least I get some dignity here. Phoned A&E to see why I was treated like this and was told ‘I don’t know, I’m just the receptionist’ - so, still no answers.
