I had cosmetic surgery at the Fitzwilliam the nursing staff were amazing, they were so friendly and approachable and extremely attentive. I felt comfortable from the moment I arrived and was constantly checked on to make sure I was comfortable and informed on whats happening at all times. My only criticism was the delay in being to obtain the written copy of the formal quotation, I had to chase a few times to get copies of it because I agreed to proceed based on verbal costings I had already undergone the pre-assessment before the quotation was received.

I have now had 3 surgeries/join injections at Fitzwilliam hospital and the staff and service are always wonderful, reassuring and helpful. Everyone is charming and kind, could not ask for anything to be done better. Thank You Dr Kandikattu, and nurses Iwona and Gosia.

Staff on the medical side were great, hospital was clean and staff were caring and friendly (even during COVID). Can’t fault my stay, the nurses or the surgical team, fantastic service. The experience I had leading up to my appointment with the admin side was a complete disaster. Considering I was paying the full amount out of pocket, when you make loads of mistakes sorry doesn’t cut it. Was just grateful they didn’t perform the operation, I’d have probably come out with an amputation instead of gastric surgery.

I was seen today and had a procedure of pain injections into my back by Dr Subhash Kandikattu, I can honestly say all the staff were very friendly and the consultant was wonderful he talks you through everything and explains everything. I am a very nervous patient and don't have a very high pain threshold and he calmed me down and honestly it was no where near as bad as I thought it was going to be, did not hurt one bit stung a little and felt a little pressure and that was it, after care again was excellent, would definatley recommend all the staff and this procedure if you need it.

I saw Clive Moss with regards to TMD problems,, after chatting with him we discussed options. He was unable to provide any treatment to help other than suggestions for medication. We then discussed Botox and he immediately perked up and became very helpful. He gave me a price and a time to come back for the injection. When i came back for the injection he did not consult with me how much he was putting in or discuss the best amount of Dysport that would help, instead he injected a large amount into my face and told me there would be no side effects or any precautions i needed to take. I have since found out after speaking to another specialist that Mr Moss had put a large amount into my face and that was why i was unable to chew food properly. I have experienced a worsening of my TMD symptoms since the injections and i am now 5 mths post injections. My physio tells me the muscles are still paralysed 5 mths on! Worse thing i ever did, only hope my face goes back to normal. I did contact Mr Moss with my concerns and he blamed the tightness and lack of movement on Anxiety! At no time did Mr Moss schedule a follow up appointment to see how the procedure had gone. Do not let let this consultant come anywhere near you with a needle!

I was operated on by Mr Wojick for a back problem. He was kind and considerate and couldn’t have been better. He is very courteous and explains everything in detail in ways the layman can understand. Together with his secretary they are very kind, helpful and efficient. I can’t praise them highly enough. I was seen firstly as a self funding patient but when the cost was getting very high he let me swap to the NHS which he operated under.

This is the most friendliest hospitals there is all the staff although they are professional in their roles, they are also very friendly and cheerful with the patients and you are treated like a person and not just another number being dealt with. They have your best interests at heart but are very professional in their roles whilst treating you both before the operation and the after care following the op. well done to all the staf at Fitzwilliam and a really big thank you for evything that you have done for me not only on the 3rd of February but also over the previous years. Thank you very very much I really appreciate everything that you have done for me over the years. Would also give all of you 200/100

The staff were amazing I wanted for nothing my pain relief was well managed so that my pain did not appear too often which is so important for you recovery. Everybody seemed very happy and totally focused on the patients, we had banter and humour and I felt I was part of a small group of well looked after patients. Nothing was too much trouble and it was especially nice because of Covid we had no visitors so the staff became our family.
