Despite being in immense pain after surgery, the staff all bent over backwards to help me feel comfortable and happy. It's is a pleasure to be able to say "Thank You" ;)
My consultant, Mr Hartley is an amazing consultant. Very down to earth, makes you feel at ease, explains everything and if you have any questions he is always willing to answer them. Would recommend Mr Hartley to anyone.
Nursing staff and HCA's are also amazing. Treat you with dignity and respect. They care for you very well and are always on hand should you need any help. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
Domestic Assistant/Tea Girls - Very pleasant and always willing to help. Even offered my husband cups of tea, which meant alot to us.
Receptionists - Very friendly, smart looking and approachable
Hospital in general - warm, welcoming, clean, tidy, cosy and a very pleasant stay.
Physios - very pleasant. I would say a 1:1 physio is better and you get alot more from this. Sarah Woodbridge is amazing!
Good hospital great care professional staff very informative
Really great hospital
Cholecystectomy operation. All staff - the cheery young porter, catering staff, nurses and the surgeon and anaesthetist treated me with politeness and humanity. The nurses were well-versed and efficient, matching my mood and using gentle humour to put me at ease. At all times I felt that I was in very capable hands - nothing was too much trouble.
Just had operation at fitzwilliam this weekend. Fantastic hospital, clean, attentive, staff very kind and caring. Special thanks to Adela Tores who went above and beyond to look after me after gall bladder removal, she helped me so much. Couldn't have been kinder. Night nurse Sadie also very good. The care was impeccable throughout. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hospital. Perfect.
A lovely hospital .my care was very good
All the staff at the hospital were caring, friendly and helpful while still being professional. The hospital was clean and tidy and the food was good. The physiotherapists were understanding without giving in to me being my moaning about how much the exercises hurt and it is a good job they do as my mobility is much better than if I had done less. I cannot praise all the staff enough.
very very good hospital would recommend to all family and friends
All staff were friendly & helpful in a relaxed atmosphere, even though refurbishment was taking place at the time. All appointments were on time and arranged for a time more suitable for me. All visits were efficient and also, I felt they had time to listen to any questions and give me a clear understanding of my treatment. I felt the segregation of NHS patients and private patients in the reception area unnecessary and slightly amusing. The private patients had their own 'glass box' in reception, maybe for their own protection?? The free car park was an unexpected bonus and removed some of the stress of arriving. Thank you to everyone at Fitzwilliam for all your help and care.
