The staff and doctors at the Fitzwilliam Hospital were very considerate and thorough with their tests. Their ultrasound was more detailed than one I had at a previous hospital which had failed to spot that my ovaries were polycystic. The endocrinologist at the Fitzwilliam was very helpful and he was able to start me on the medicine I needed to take in order to aid my weight loss (and prevent diabetes). As a self-paying patient, it was well worth the price to gain clarity on what has been going on with my health (with symptoms that had recently increased in severity) over the last few years.

The whole of the care I received whilst in Fitzwilliam Hospital also the surgery was fault free and would thoroughly recommend anyone to have treatment there.

On arrival I was greeted by friendly staff who made time to have a quick conversation with me as I was slightly anxious. Before my injections I was explained again by the doctor, the procedure he was going to do. Whilst having my injections, Mr Kanikattu and his team made me feel comfortable and again explained the procedure step by step. I was then sent to recovery with a nurse who explained my after care for when i was at home.

I received double hernia surgery and the post-op. nurses and support assistants were extremely professional and caring in looking after me in some difficult stages of recovery. Thank you all for your great work.
