In and out Within 30 minutes. Had blood test followed by x-ray.
I'm delighted to report how efficient Finchley Memorial Hospital was this morning.
I was asked by my GP on Thursday to undertake blood tests and have an X-ray.
I was able to book the blood test appointment for Monday and it took place exactly in the time window booked.
Then went around to Walk-In X-ray department and was seen within minutes.
All in all, I was in and out of Finchley Memorial Hospital within 30 minutes of arrival! Very impressive. Thank you NHS!
Very disappointed with the blood service. Arrived 10 minutes before my 8.05 booked appointment. The person that arrived 5 minutes early was called in early. It was quiet but by 8.10 and 8.15 others with later appointments were called in and I was still waiting in an unsafe environment. The slightly heavy receptionist was very rude and I’m sure purposely made me wait far longer than was necessary. I was finally called in at 8.30 and the phlebotomist took 3 attempts to get the blood.
Pointless booking if several staff on duty can’t get their act together.
Unnecessarily horrible staff...
I arrived at the Walk in Centre on Monday 8th April at 1055 a.m.to have 2 stitches removed following a biopsy two weeks ago at Barnet Hospital. I wasn't called until 3.30 p.m and walked out of the nurse's room at 3.32 p.m. Two minutes service and I had to wait for over four and a half hours. The Reception desk staff are very unhelpful and have answers at the ready if you should dare query why your name hasn't been called. The nurse I saw didn't even apologise for the long delay. I was told the waiting time when I booked in was 3 hours. I felt very ill and faint by the time I left as I hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. My GP does not have a Nurse which I discovered 2 weeks ago on 25th March when I called to book an appointment to have the stitches removed today 8th April hence my unfortunate visit to the walk in centre.

Efficient and clean. I was seen on time by friendly nurse.
