mr simon monkhouse is a superb surgeon,he never forgets anybodys name. he loves his work/and is very dedicaded. he operated on me awhile ago with my diabetic abbccess,simon monkhouse/east surrey hospitial,saved my life.he is kind,considerate,loyal,and loves the job. he is very popular. we are very honoured,and very lucky to have mr simon monhouse,working at east surrey hospitial. I would like to thank,mr simon monkhouse,from the bottom of my heart,thank you very very much. I now feel like a new woman,keep up the good work simon.you are a genius.

Great hospital for my fertility

I have visited the hospital a number of times with my children's births, sepsis, cellulitis of the eye etc and myself for a and e but this was the first time for myself to stay in overnight. During my recent visit with a cellulitis infection due to an insect bite I found the hospital to be excellent: Dr Vivek Patel and nurses were fantastic at diagnosing, keeping me informed and checking every possibility whilst in a and e and after. Once transferred to the Leigh ward, luckily in my own room, I found all the nurses, doctors, food staff and cleaners all to be very polite, happy, considerate people who always had enough time to listen to your concerns and look after you (even when I can be quit demanding being a bit of s germaphobe!). Overall the care was excellent.

I was on Brookham ward for 8 days from the 1st June until the 8th bay 7 bed A and the care I was given was exemplary I could,nt have wished for better treatment by all the staff that was involved in my care, thank you for making my stay as comfortable as possible.

I just wanted to commend your Macmillan nursing staff, who have been extremely caring, informative, helpful and compassionate in helping my Mum who has Mesothelioma and has had terrible ulcers of the mouth. I cannot thank you lovely ladies enough for your patience and your resolve with your suggestions in the correct choice of medication to help my mother cope. She is so grateful to you, as she can now see an end to this trialling and painful 3 month period of discomfort. Thank you once again, where would we be without you????

Having been admitted to East Surrey Hospital with chest pains, I felt completely at ease the moment I arrived at the hospital. The "checking In" staff were friendly and, most important, kept me fully updated as to what was happening. Once in a cubicle, there was none of this sitting and waiting for hours on end, not knowing what was going on. The various hospital staff who saw to me were very helpful. Again, always explaining what they were going to do and why. Thankfully, after a couple of ECG'S, blood test and a chest X-Ray, I was advised by the doctor that it wasn't as serious as I had first thought. So, FULL MARKS to everyone involved during my short stay, just over three hours.

I recently went through the process of treating a possible cancer growth in my breast. From referral to biopsy the whole experience was outstanding. Out patient staff were kind and very respectful. Xray staff were kind and treated me with empathy and dignity. I have had several visits to east Surrey hospital and wouldn't go anywhere else
