Seen on time staff very attentive and caring
From the moment I arrived I was really looked after, kept well informed what was happening at all times both before during and after major surgery (hip replacement) The surgery went well but I had a turn for the worse later on when recovering, again all the staff were there doing whatever was needed to bring me through. The day after I was transferred to the Modular ward at Doncaster, thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and any other staff involved in my recovery
Fantastic when I came into hospital for day surgery I was put at ease straight away by all the staff there care was exceptional I would like to thank you all
I had a great experience at the Doncaster hospital.
Mainly because a nurse called Abi was guiding me around and we had a great convo, I’m extremely happy with how comforting it all felt & I’m delighted to return.
Usually I have anxiety and with her service it all felt like my mental condition wasn’t apparent.
From the moment I arrived all the staff were caring and showed great empathy. The department was really busy and there were a lot of stressful people waiting to be seen. Once seen by the Nurse for assessment I was soon moved into the next zone and the wheels were set in motion. I received excellent care and given guidance about medication and who to contact for my after care. Everyone in A&E are amazing, they are are fantastic team who work together to provide top class care .
I was in on the 11th of April for a D&C. Although not visiting on good circumstances all the staff were lovely, empathetic and friendly. They made me feel at ease and were very attentive. I unfortunately can’t remember their names but the nurses and healthcares on duty looking after me on the ward over that day and night were very kind.
The staff also in surgery were also very kind, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I often have been to Sheffield royal infirmary for treatment and haven’t found the staff so friendly there so was a nice change and going to hospital would be a lot nicer experience if was always like that.
All the staff especially Julie was very caring and helpful, always made the time to address concerns and explain stuff even though extremely busy. We felt very well looked after
Every one was kind ,polite and listened to your concerns
My physiotherapist was helpful, friendly and encouraging. I enjoyed the session as well as finding it useful.
Dr who dealt with me was very condescending and wasn’t really listening to the problem. When giving nurses my urine sample it was left on the desk next to someone else’s sample. Only thing that was telling the 2 samples a part was an a4 piece of paper with names and arrows pointing to said samples. Disgusting treatment of bodily fluids and samples for diagnosis.
