My care provider was respectful, but the services on offer are inadequate.

Suggested improvements
Advocate more strongly for patients with regards to hormone bridging prescriptions, more hair removal sessions, facial feminisation surgery on the NHS.

Response from Danetre Hospital

Thank you for your feedback. Bridging prescriptions do require the prescribing clinician (usually the GP in these cases) to be comfortable with undertaking this responsibility. As such, NHFT GIC does provide GPs with supportive guidance on how to undertake this practice safely. Nonetheless, the GIC cannot take clinical responsibility for patients whom it has not yet had the opportunity to assess and diagnose Gender Incongruence themselves.
