I felt I had to write a review about my recent stay in the female surgical ward. The treatment care respect and dignity that I was treated with was above and beyond what I expected.from the minute I entered A&E till I was admitted to a ward a few hours later. The staff could not do enough for me both the day and night I won't name names they know who they are.As for the doctors they were absolutely fantastic. Doctor Ruth Evans and my consultant team treated me so well when I was seriously ill thank you all so much.

My husband Sidney Forsythe was at your cardiac clinic this morning . He had shock treatment. We both agreed for every minute he was there he was treated amazingly. This is a great wee hospital with staff who are a credit to them. Too many times we hear negative reports about the NHS so I'm pleased to give this positive report. Thank you

Staff were extremely attentive and I felt supported at all times. This was my third c section after having two previous at Craigavon and I was dubious about using Daisy Hill initially - I needn't have worried. Outstanding patient care and follow up etc.

The care was awful for my mum who was very ill. The nurses were abrupt and unhelpful when I did get an answer and they lied to me about my mum’s condition. They said she was sitting up and eating and had not asked for painkillers. When I call her she was not even able to eat and had been asleep hence did not ask for painkillers. She was covid positive and treated like an animal not a person. Disgusting!

I called their out of hours service needing antibiotics at 3am this morning and the doctor who called back (cannot remember his name sadly) left me the antibiotics at main reception. Unfortunately because of a flat battery (4 & 5 year olds playing in car...) I couldn’t get there until 11am this morning but they were right where he said they would be and the lady at reception was able to put her hands on them straight away and had been expecting me. So grateful that I was taken seriously and by a sympathetic doctor. Staff were just marvellous. THANK YOU!!!!
