I took my son up who hurt his foot, the lady doing his obs was brilliant but we were then waiting 2 hours to be told to go home and try calpol because the X-ray is now shut, they could have told us this earlier in the visit so we could go elsewhere, we were sat and people were going to X-ray the whole time but then when it got to us it was shut we ended up going to Grimsby where 3 other patients had been sent for the same reason made them wait for 2-3 hours to then send them to Grimsby because X-ray is shut

Having waited 3 weeks to see a GP and only able to get an appointment to see a nurse practitioner at my surgery , as I am a severe asthmatic and have a really bad cough , the tablets and linctus I was prescribed did nothing to ease my cough , I know what I needed as I have this regularly every year . In desperation I phoned 111 and an out of hours doctor arranged for me to attend Louth Urgent Care Unit at 7pm on the 2nd April , after waiting 3/4 of an hour I was called in , my chest was checked within 4 minutes I was back in the waiting room awaiting my prescription , this is an excellent service , it is a pity that I cannot get service like this at my surgeries .
