The staff in James ward are out standing, i spent 3 weeks there .they all treated me with much compassion and kindness. The staff in A@E were also amazing so kind and helpful. The treatment was the best.Well done the NHS.

I have been treated at The Conquest for a skin condition and have found the staff and treatment to be first class. I also had my baby at the Conquest and while there were aspects of the care in the maternity unit that weren't perfect they saved my life and the life of my baby and over all did an amazing job. They cared for my sister really well during a period of terminal illness. I have used the A&E department on 3 occasions and found the staff and treatment first class. Over all I think the staff at the Conquest do a truly amazing job despite facilitating care in a challenging area and dealing with budget cuts.

This hospital is hampered by overwhelming self interest by Senior Managers and the NHS Trust. Many front line staff do the best they can but it is a losing battle and the imposition of PR stunts instead of real problem solving does not help. If it is not an immediate emergency, try Brighton.
