Review of Camphill Health Visitors
30th November 2023

Sarah is my health visitor and she is amazing in doing her care. She has always involved me in making decisions. She has identified a severe infection early with my baby and advised me to contact an and e immediately which has avoided so many medical interventions. She has comforted and reassured during my postpartum period.

Suggested improvements
I think it’s functionally reliable and stable care system

Review of Physiotherapy Outpatients - Kenilworth Clinic
2nd November 2023

Felicity has taught me a range of exercises that I can incorporate into my daily life and has always made me feel comfortable and made things achievable for me she has been extremely patient, resourseful, helpful and has always listened and found a solution for me. I cannot praise or thank her enough. The kenilworth department at smalley place has a lovely comfortable atmosphere and is easily accessible. The emails re exercises are very helpful as well as the text reminders for the appointment.

Everything was excellent.

I could hear other patients, so a flimsy curtain is not private , you should provide cubicles or small rooms .

Review of Physio - Rugby ESD
6th September 2023

My physiotherapist was Pete and he took all the usual pre-assessment to have all the information needed to help with my problem, he was thorough and listened. He examined me with care and was gentle. This was appreciated as I had been worrying that I would be pushed beyond the pain before going to my appointment. Pete was polite and courteous. He explained what could be wrong before giving me some exercises to do at home, and asking me to come back to see how I am getting on with them. I assumed beforehand that I would just be given exercises and that would be the end. It is nice to get a follow up appointment, it doesn't leave you feeling like nobody cares or you have wasted their time. Pete was very professional but at the same time friendly. Thank you very much Pete

Review of CYP&F Physiotherapy
4th September 2023

Our son has long covid. The physiotherapist wasn't aware of it. The next appointment I insisted weeks before with the long covid clinic and physiotherapy to contact each other. Because that was what the long covid clinic promised us to do, but it didn't happen before the first visit. So it was very frustrating about the physio not knowing what to do. We left there feeling terrible. When for the next visit - after I calling both physio and long covid clinic several times - there was no contact between both - I cancelled the appointment, even explaining the reason. Now our son has a new appointment, but both parties didn't contact each other yet. And even telling physiotherapist that our son can't come early in the morning because he is too tired, he was booked in at 8:45 am (again).

Suggested improvements
I called physio explaining our experience and frustration and that after physio and long covid clinic finally contact each other, we want our son to have another physiotherapist, because the experience with this person was really frustrated because of not understanding what is going on. We have had some very frustrating experiences and also good experiences on the NHS now. And because negative experiences drains our energy - which level isn't so high after such a long time looking for help - we want to avoid contact with energy draining people who do not understand the situation the most as possible. And now we have a new appointment with the same physio at a very early time in the morning. This physio therapist even called me last month and asked how our son is doing. But even asking, the interest to really listen wasn't there. That is how I felt. I felt really sad and frustrated after this call and all my energy was gone. So I do not need to speak to this same person again. We will be having an appointment with the long covid clinic next week where I will discuss this and explain that we can't see this same person again. It just doesn't feel right and drains our energy. Sorry for that.
