Because our care was excellent!
I am receiving palliative care at home & very grateful for the care & attention I receive.
Natalie clearly explains how I can deal with my symptoms and situation in a way I find easy to understand .
Before meeting Natalie I was trying to manage on my own but now with her support I feel stronger.
The carers always took their time. Never felt rushed. Always had a listening ear.
Cheerful, Chatty and Charming.
We found the virtual ward team to be an invaluable service. Their skills and expertise were outstanding. Our introduction to the team and the service by Sally was sensitive. Walking us as a family through what was to come and the support on offer when ever we needed it. The daily contact with the family and the home visiting made us feel that our mothers care was very individualised to her changing needs. The team always responded to our concerns and we knew that our mother was always central to every decision that was being made above all else. There was good communication between them and the district nursing services which enabled prompt review of medications to keep our mother comfortable. The final visit by Funmilayo epitomised this wonderful service. Her compassion and dignity in conducting the verification of our mothers passing and her care and respect shown towards her was wonderful to have witnessed. We will be forever grateful to this service.
My husband has been here for 10 days. My only recommendation is that the food can be a bit repetitive. Too many curries. No salads on menu and maybe more plain foods such as meat pies etc.
As an added note ALL the staff here are amazing and supportive to myself and my family. My husbands care as been exemplary.
Because whenever I ask a question I got the answer, the whole experience was very good.
Exceptional care all round.
