Review of Community Based Neuro Rehab Team (CBNRT) Wokingham
15th September 2023

I had a fantastic experience, the team really helped 'kickstart' my recovery. I was particularly impressed the physio team assessed me, isolated the issue and gave me a focused exercise plan. The cognitive, speech and languages exercises were great too. If these exercises felt a little strange at first I came to sense (and appreciate) the effect over the duration.

Suggested improvements
Start the Physio as soon as a patient is discharged, in my case there was a two month gap between hospital discharge and physio engaging! I am well aware of the cost restraints on services, but physio services should be as close as possible to 'follow the patient home'. I was up and about just needing direction, but others would sit in chair and decline, going backwards. The gender questions below are irrelevant from a therapy perspective, brains coordinate muscles in much the same way across species, male or female. The gender questions should be highlighted as optional.
