Admitted in 31/1/20 in A & E, I was transferred on 4th floor AAU. The care I received most particularly by the night team was excellent. It wasn’t my first emergency visit but my longest in AAU. I’m in awe of the nurse Samantha’s efficiency, knowledge and utter professionalism. We had very difficult patients on this ward B, trying to the extreme. This nurse was not only unflappable but her briefing to day staff at the end her shift for day’s team, the best I’ve ever seen. Thank you Samantha, Cindy & the whole night and day team. So impressed. I was admitted in the hospital last year for nose trauma. I was told that the nose was not broken, the. I was told that the nose needed an operation. The consultant then checked the nose prior to the operation only to say that it was not broken and it was ok. A year or so later, living with a deviated septum and its issues, I was seen by another doctor at west mid who confirms that it was broken and I just had a septorhinoplasty done. No thanks to Kingston hospital. I could tell by feeling by nasal bone that one side was jagged and I am not an ENT doctor!
It took DR Mohienmen Anwar ENT to get it sorted at the end.

I have to commend a member of your staff Chris Carwana for absolutely outstanding service . I understand he is a member of your Xray team that provides images for scans . What an outstanding employee of the NHS with old school values and a high regard for urgency and patient care . Very refreshing to see and it’s people like this gentleman that stand out and that deserve all the praise in a sea of NHS employees who are only there in physical presence and take no pride in their work.
