My husband was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma skin cancer and he was booked in for surgery late December 2018. Not only were the staff outstanding, we even met the CEO of the hospital late evening New years eve, she came and spoke to us about his care and treatment and I observed how lovely she was to the staff on duty too.
Since his diagnosis he is now having Chemotherapy fortnightly. The staff on the day ward are fantastic and although people are extremely ill they are positive, kind and compassionate. You can all take great pride in the fantastic work you all do, we will always be eternally grateful to everyone and continue to be.
