My husband was treated at the Urgent Care by a GP. He was seen within an hour and the care was excellent

I was admitted as an emergency in late October 2013. I was seen promptly and the staff were all very efficient and caring. I was kept informed throughout. The surgeon was wonderfully skillful and I had great confidence that I was in the best possible hands. Having had time (afterwards) to look him up I was impressed by his extensive experience and qualifiactions! My post-operative care was excellent although at times I felt the nurses were demoralised - although this didn't impact on my care. I wonder if they feel appreciated? Perhaps the managers could look at this? Overall a very satisfied customer. This hospital (and the team) saved my life.

50/50 ratio for the nurses. Some of the nurses just roamed around and were not productive, a lot of the patients waited long periods of time to be taken to the toilet, receive their pain meds etc... The other half of nurses were very productive, took time to chat to the patients and run around like blue arsed flys covering forthe lazy nurses. Very poor communication between doctors and nurses on individual treatments/procedures. I had a temp trachie which was distressing- I was able to talk but it took time... Some of the nurses tried to hurry me and some didn't even bother to listen

I found everyone I came into contact with at Charing Cross Hospital very helpful, kind, caring and above all professional. I was looked after extremely well and would have absolutely no problem in recommending this hospital to any of my friends or family.
