Charing Cross is a wonderful hospital. I received amazing treatment from doctors, nurses, surgeons, oncologists, phlebotomists and reception staff. It always felt like a secure, happy place. Special thanks to everyone in the chemotherapy unit who stayed cheerful and helpful despite being constantly on their feet and with little time for breaks. Thank you to everyone who works for the NHS - you have my thanks and admiration.
