Charing Cross hospital breast unit is efficient and reassuring. They were very quick making appointments and follow up meetings. I met Mr Thiruchelvam at his clinic which I feel fortunate to have been placed under his care. Although transferring to private health cover I feel reassured to think that the NHS has Mr Thiruchelvam working with them and that many patients will benefit from his amazing care, experience and empathy that don’t have private health cover.
I think the breast screening programme is crucial and thank goodness it is there for all women.
