Excellent ward nurses, especially Natallie and Debbie, who were caring, kind, friendly and thoughtful. Made me feel I was a special individual and not just another patient from another room down the corridor. The theatre staff were very pleasant and professional too. The only complaint is a very minor one - they used too much tape fixing the cannula. In summary, this was my best visit to ward 16.

Arrived early at the out patient clinic for my 83 year old ( terminally ill )relatives appointment this morning when I checked in I was told the clinic was cancelled & a letter had been sent - as the relative lives with me I know no letter was received. The system for informing patients needs reviewing as this journey to the hospital was totally unnecessary & physically challenging for the patient. A telephone call to confirm the information had been received or text with confirmation of receipt as is used in other health services may be beneficial for future service users

Radiotherapy for prostate cancer. Everyone in the Queen Elizabeth Suite, from receptionist to nurses and technicians were extremely kind and thoughtful. All my questions were answered and advice given, a great service. I also had 'Patient Transport Service' to take me too and from the hospital, excellent drivers and again thoughtful and kind. As all was a free service I have no complaints at all and can only say thank you for an excellent service. Brian Viney

Every member of staff I came into contact with from doctors to the catering ladies we’re all extremely helpful, respectful and compassionate towards me. Everyone worked hard to ensure I made a full and rapid recovery.

I was admitted in ward 8 in August 2017 after my spine surgery. The staff's were wonderful, caring, supportive. They have good hospitality and friendly environment. I will recommend their services to anyone.

I arrived 25 minutes early for my appointment and to my surprise was seen almost immediately. With the appointment being 4 to 6 hours I thought this was wonderful.Sarah was my nurse and 2 other patients each had a nurse( Bev and Jackie).All 3 nurses were great and I was really well looked after I was there 6 hours and every stage of my tests were fully explained to me what they were going to do and what to expect,very reassuring.Immunology Department.

was absolutely wonderful, I was so happy with my stay and I was able to go home in one day owing to the great care I received. The staff where getting used to the new bedside alarm systems so it wasn't their fault and I was very happy nonetheless.
