Throughout my time doing Scm Phil has involved me on many conversations and encouraged answers throughout and hasn’t made me feel silly about my answers as answering questions isn’t a strong point for me he made it a little easier .
Felt validated.
Thank you for sharing your experience of SCM. The group is an interactive therapeutic intervention and cameras are essential in ensuring that service users and facilitators can fully participate and benefit from the group whilst it is delivered online. We are aware that participants are at different stages in comfort and ability to appear on-screen and aim to support people around individual differences whilst being clear about expectations that apply to all attendees. We are planning to return to delivering a proportion of our groups face-to-face and this option can be discussed with your individual practitioner if online attendance is counterproductive.
I have passed your comment about cameras to the session manager. I hope this didn't detract from what you took from session. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient Experience Manager.
My therapist [name removed] was kind and understanding. I felt safe to speak about my problems and I did not feel judged when I spoke about them. [name removed] spoke with kindness and helped me to overcome my problems one step at a time. This made my goals achievable and I felt that I was supported every step of the way.
Before the therapy, I felt very overwhelmed and felt that I was surrounded by problems. I didn't know where to begin and everything felt impossible to achieve. During the therapy, I felt that I developed the skills to regain control of my life and manage my problems in a way that felt realistic and achievable. I learnt how to schedule my time and break tasks into smaller, more manageable pieces. Having these skills now, I feel like I can always make progress and tackle things in a way that does not feel overwhelming. I am very grateful for the therapy sessions and would like to thank [name removed] for being so kind and supportive along the way.
[name removed] was lovely, she was kind and compassionate and had the patience of an angel
Im now building a life worth living
I received excellent care and treatment from my { }.
We received a good service and whatever we discussed was achieved.
Thank you for your comments. We understand the importance of continuity in care and we do strive to achieve this and alongside feedback from carers.
Listened to. No ignored.
[name removed] has visited me on numerous occasions and kept the importance of consistency going. This has helped me immensely in my recovery.
[name removed] was absolutely amazing. I have had therapists in the past that I feel I haven't had much support from however [name removed] has really helped me to gain the confidence I needed to face day to day activities and challenges. When I came to IAPT I was referred in from the crisis line and was struggling with extremely poor headspace and couldn't really see a way out. I started my sessions with [name removed] around Christmas time and after 4 months of support I am in a much better headspace and have the tools I need to face day to day challenges again. I want to say a massive thank you to her for everything she has done.
I would like to say a huge thank you to [name removed]. He was exceptional, caring and his knowledge was outstanding, he made me feel safe, comfortable and free to speak openly without any judgement. I honestly can't thank him enough, I feel so thankful to have had [name removed] as a support!
