[name removed] was so kind and understanding. I didn’t feel pressured into doing things as she had a real understanding of my feelings. Just talking to someone who understands what you are going through is such a help. [name removed] helped me through in small steps and i now feel much more positive. I still have little down days but I suppose that is to be expected.

You could not have done anything better I was really happy with the treatment.

thank the team and especially [name removed] and also the doctor (I don’t remember his name) for all their help, I was discharged nearly a year ago and now looking back I can clearly see the change that has occurred since I was first referred to yourselves. [name removed] managed to convince me to finally go onto some medication and it has been LIFE CHANGING I wish I did it years and years ago. That along with other help has made the world of difference and I just wanted to say a MASSIVE Thankyou as I am 1000% sure I would not be in this position without all of your help. What you do is truly life changing.

Maybe support for my husband but I think this is more of a luxury that a necessity I think he didn’t really understand what was wrong with me despite being very supportive

I worked with [name removed] who has been fantastic. I will never forgot the support I have received from her. I have learnt a lot about myself and my behaviours. The handouts/home work were very helpful and I will keep these forever to remind me in the future how to help myself. Thank you so much [name removed] and the IAPT team.

I feel like I have come a long way since beginning my treatment; this has been demonstrated by analysing my depression and anxiety levels on a graph and seeing a considerable drop in both levels. I have learned new coping mechanisms and methods which I continue to put into practice on a daily basis. While there has been a clear improvement in my mental health as a result of my treatment, it is going to take a period of time to assess how effective this has been and if further treatment is required. I am thankful to [name removed] for all of her help and support through this process - she has been excellent and I cannot fault her at all.

Was treated with respect e.g.was not talked down to because of my age and condition. Felt supported as they have never once told me I am beyond help and there is always options

Kept in contact, was left for months with. I contact from anyone from the team. The team is not very consistent as I end up seeing a different doctor every time and they all have different approaches to my treatment some of which I do not agree with like telling me I shouldn't be on clozapine despite it being the only drug that keeps me stable. They did not listen to the concerns of my carer and basically spoke as if my carer was not there. They did not keep in contact with my GP who was unaware of the changes to my meds etc.
