[name removed] is the best therapist that I have ever had. Her ability to make you feel more like a friend than a therapist really helped with the experience. She was very knowledgable and remembered things I said that even I forgot. She was very caring and accommodated me at every point when I needed it. I’m not great at writing but I really want to highlight how amazing [name removed] was and I wouldn’t be able to be where I am today without her help and support. I will honestly remember her and her wisdom forever

I had a long wait time to be seen but understandable as we as a population don’t seem to get taught how to deal with mental health until it becomes overwhelming

[name removed] has been very helpful and supportive throuout the CBT session. she has also shown great care and compassion in my situation. she helped me to explore my options, made useful recommendations and suggestions to help myself. [name removed] has a great listening skills which helped me to put me at ease and felt comfortbale to share my emotions she has always been understanding and felixible to adjust my CBT sessions when my external circumstances interferred wiht my sessions. Her work style has always proven to be of high standard and professionalism. she has always treated me wiht dignity and care. I'm grateful to [name removed] for her continous support!

I was counselled by telephone, so I've had no experience of clinic or hospital services.

What ever we were speaking about, I gave information which my counsellor then built on this using my thoughts & feelings to look at alternative ways of coping with how I was feeling and offering me alternative ways to think more positively. She focused on my positives and talked about the thoughts & feelings I had explored. Then she asked how my feelings were with looking at it differently.

My counsellor always used what I said to alter my thinking to see if I came out with a different way to think about a situation. This helped me think differently. Eventually as my course progressed I was helped to change my thought process with a different line of thought. With practice this helped me tremendously. I don't think there is any way a counsellor could do any more than get me thinking differently and more clearly.
