My Father was admitted to the Rayne and then moved to the Tollsbury ward. On both wards my father received excellent care and was made aware, and then we were made aware of what was happening with dignity, care, and grace by all Doctors and nurses involved. We were spoken to with complete respect and without being given any false hope or promises.
My father was made to be extremely comfortable and the wonderful nurse (Sandra) who was in contact with me at the end and when I got to the hospital to say goodbye was an angel. To know he was in such great care in such a faultless environment from my point of view has been an extreme weight lifted off my chest at such a difficult time.
Thank you to all that were there for us. Your compassion and professionalism, as well as personal empathy for our situation has made things more bearable.
