Being given multiple wrong diagnosis is extremely frustrating. Being manipulated in a way to take medication that a person doesn't need and telling them a completely different outcome. Not informing the person about a diagnosis or providing any information. Professional staff fail to understand concepts involving anxiety and psychotic illnesses. Anxiety induced situations are clearly distinct than psychotic illnesses and medical staff have failed to recognise the major distinctions.

I have never once received an appointment on time. When I was on 3-month reviews, it would easily be six months before I'd get an appointment. Currently have waited over a year for a review since my last appointment, and I'm supposed to be on six month reviews. Staff are cold and generally make me feel very uncomfortable.

Staff were ignorant and disrespectful towards my needs, the bluestone is more like a homeless shelter than a medical department , staff are not understanding to mental health needs and wellness issues at all

I have been an inpatient and outpatient in bluestone before. The staff are very respectful and kind. A lot of their time seem to be rushed of their feet. Food is good. Plenty of groups and ot work. The one problem I do find is I have seen many patients pushed out of this facility far before they are ready to leave and supervision of patients is appalling. It would not be a safe place for a suicidal person. It is very easy to get break out if you are a detained patient.

Dr Nigel Rodden helped through some of the difficulties of my own mental health and not to mention the time of my own past through alcoholism. Dr Nigel Rodden only suggested that I should abstain from drinking alcohol of which I have and it wasn't easy in doing so. Dr Nigel Rodden's own key interest was to make sure that I was safe and well.
