I have worked with Dr Richard Mupanemunda and I have therefore seen him with families and he is a very caring doctor. Patients have always come back and told me how good he is and how he cares so much. I always feel that he makes time for his patients and makes them feel like they are important - which they are. From a medical point of view, patients speak very highly of him and say that he looked after them well from the day the babies are born. I approached Richard when I had my son as there were a couple of medical concerns and whilst other doctors did not take me seriously, Richard saw my son, and immediately listened, understood my concerns, diagnosed him and started my son on treatment which had good effect. I only wish I had seen him sooner! Overall, Dr Richard Mupanemunda is a rare diamond in the field of medicine. There really are not enough doctors like him and I hope that he continues to practice for many years to come.

mr adams as a surgeon is fantastic and did a great job. after care was reasonable. but the hospital and the ward was unclean, rusting raditors, rusting medication cabinets and unsatisfactory toilet facilities, very unclean. food horrible. car parking charges ridiculously high for visitors. hdu and ward 4 staff were fantastic considering the environment and conditions they have to work with.

Cardiology department consultant were rude. Because there was no medical evidence why I kept fainting they treated me awful. Suggested I see a psychiatrist . I have since been diagnosed with functional neurological disorder. I also think the hospital is outdated and not kept clean enough. Not like QE and Walsall manor.

In the past 2 years I have had numerous visits to Heartlands hospital for our son and myself. I have always found the staff (at all levels) to be courteous, caring, professional and friendly. I recommend Heartlands to other people and cannot thank the staff enough for everything they have done for us.

I was referred to ENT department after having ear nose and throat problems. During my visits I have attended the consultant ,hearing, blood CT and Ultrasound and pre op departments. All the receptionists , doctors and nursing staff have been friendly , kind and informative and do a wonderful and efficient job. I had a small operation and all the nurses , doctors, anaesthetist , surgery preparation , my surgeon and surgery team were so kind in looking after me . I was referred to another consultant as an emergency when I got an ear infection , again he gave me the most wonderful care. Thank you to all concerned.

I went into Hospital as a patient of Mr M Claridge on Friday 2nd August 2013 for an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Endovascular Repair. His team were extremely Professional and the procedure went to plan seamlessly (my thoughts). For post operative care I went to Ward 4 where the staff from the staff nurses down to the junior nurses still at college were so cheerful while carrying out there tasks. Nothing was too much trouble considering they worked to busy schedules. I must not forget the ancillary staff who made the beds up and brought the food which incidentally was extremely tasty. I have been in hospitals before but must confess the cheerfulness and courtesy I experienced in Heartlands has to reflect the hospital organisation. I was discharged just 48 hrs after my op due in no small way to my treatment. A big thanks to you all.
