Nice and clean hospital with friendly professional staff
Wonderful team , Caring and was treated very well .
Well disappointed with this hospital, the waiting hours are ridiculous make you wait for such a lot time even if it’s for a small thing, my father was in so much pain and did nothing for atleast 7 hours no pain relief either come on a old man.. waste of time this hospital wouldn’t recommend this to no one. They need to sort out there waiting times there way too long
I had my first baby at heartlands.
The neo natual unit was brilliant. Dr Richards is wonderful and really good with children.
I was seen by Profesdor Khrisna and his team at the immunology department. I cannot fault the care given from them receiving my referral letter, assessment, treatment and discharge, I was fully involved, my views mattered but most of all I felt the level of care was excellent. This was the NHS at it's best. I can only praise the team, they rang me when they said they would,. Professor Krishna wrote a comprehensive and detailed letter to my GP and Consultant. The nurses were brilliant at getting information, chasing my consultant to make sure everything was in place for me treatment. I am astounded that this department is not recognised as a centre of excellence. It is outstanding.
Very professional and friendly
Generally a good hospital
Everyone was so nice in theatre they made me feel relaxed explained everything that they were doing to me I had spinal anaesthetic so I was awake they kept asking me if I was comfortable my gynaecologist Dr Khaja was so nice before during and after the operation. The nurses on ward 1 were all very nice I could not fault my care at all
Heartlands Hospital has the best neonatal unit in Birmingham. The consultants are the best and they do their best.
I stayed at Heartlands for nearly two weeks after having Thoracic surgery to remove a benign tumour from behind my lung, from the pre-admittance assessments, the surgery and the aftercare I cannot fault anything, I was kept well informed of everything that needed to happen and then everything that was happening, Mr Bishay made sure of this. I stayed on ward 4 and the staff are a compliment to the NHS they made me feel like I was the only patient on the ward nothing was any bother and a thank you to ward sister Nehe (apologies if I spelt it wrong) who even when I was not under her care always made sure I was ok.
