I went in with arm pain, staff were rude, especially the A&E reception with scarf on kept rolling her eyes everytime I spoke, the black lady who assessed me was worst of them she did not have any care towards patients and wouldn't let me speak at all , they have no duty of care towards their patient. Kept sending me backwards and forwards to emergency a&e and minor a&e. The service is appalling wouldn't recommend anyone to go there

Basically my mum went in hospital due to some reason, and had to have a interpreter due to language barrier. All the nurses and doctors (whites, black ) where very nice except for this Asian girl in the A & E department…….she told my mother not to press the bell even thought she was in pain, disgusted service,I was waiting outside the hospital I would have happily gone in.this nurse called Faiza was terrible, she wasn’t bothered atall, she’s trying act like she owns the department, she’s a disgrace to the hospital

I went in to Badger due to back pain which was severe I could not stand or anything even sit down thats how much bad pain I was in. From badger I was told to go to A and E as I have an underlining health conditon crohns and colitis. So I go into A and E and told the girl there at the desk this is the problem and so for she said a door on your right is for nurses explain to them why you cannot stand around and see what they can do for you. As there was no nurses there at that point I was holding the door and walked in after a bit but still standing and in pain. A nurse comes along with utter rude manners and says who told you to come in here I said the lady at the reception as I have crohns and colitis she said explain to you what is wrong with me. So then what ever I asked her she said there's no beds rudely then giving it the attitude she asked some other nurses and starting huffing and puffing who the hell told you to come in here she done the observations but went off on one. She goes right who's told you to come in here you think your clever jumping the queue I go listen I did not jump the queue as I was there told the lady at reception and at that point everyone that was there was listening I did not get her name or anything went to the desk ask a guy were the girl that was just here he goes she's on her break but nothing at all he said she must have told him just to wait. That lady was still going off on one the nurse like how dare you im in pain and your still going off on one the staff that were there obviously gave her side like you don't understand its not my fault as the lady at the desk said to go there. She aventually just went she's very rude and that what we expect from nurses like her like they say karma does come back to you hopefully I pray that she goes through something like that I should still think for embarrassing me she should get questioned for what she did the mistake I made was I never asked her name nor number on her card that was my mistake otherwise I would have plastered her all over social media saying rude women I did not get to take a picture of her but if I see her anywhere I will know who she is. The state I was in I just walked off and came back home as no beds are available you just have to wait for 6 to 7 hours which is too long. If your in pain and agony how can you wait for so long plus no beds like its a joke. The nursing in heartlands hospital A and E need to fix up as if we were to give them the same attitude how would they like it but I guess we would be told to leave.

Our son Kieran was admitted at the Pediatric Assessment Unit. The staff were all amazing the doctors, nurses, assistants and the teacher Ben. The place was very clean and the lunch box was just perfect, packed with nutritious food. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. Kieran's Mum and Dad

I had my baby at heartlands and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were amazing and really listened to what I wanted and accommodated me in every way possible. They made sure my husband was there from the start and involved. They were lovely and I really felt they went above and beyond to make sure my baby was delivered safely and that I got the birth I wanted. The aftercare was also great, brilliant support with breastfeeding and timely checks on baby to make sure he was fine and that I could go home as soon as possible. Highly recommend. My midwives Helen and Julie were fantastic

The hospital do not have any sense of responsibility. I got a referral letter for cardiology department to arrange urgent appointment for heart failure clinic in early June. No one respond for me. Recently I received a letter for appointment in 14/9/2020 despite it was an urgent referral. Also in 21/09/2020 urology department called me as I got 3-4episodes of diffuse blood in urine with no pain or fever. They told me that somebody is going to call me in 24/08/2020 at 1100am to discuss my condition. No body has called me till now today 24/08/2020. I am a consultant doctor worked with them before for 5 years and they treating me like that what about other ordinary patients what they will do. Really completely unhappy about their quality of care given for me.
