God bless all at Birmingham children's hospital. In our 14 years of association, the hospital and the staff who work there have truly humbled us.
Our daughter spent most of the first year of her life at BCH, a special place full of dedicated, skilled, gifted people. We continue to receive exceptional care and in comparison with other hospitals where our daughter has received treatment I am able to say that others do not compare with BCH. I am confident in accessing BCH for my daughters medical care, it is proven. I cannot say this about other hospitals we have experienced.
I was a patient at BCH for most of my childhood. I cannot begin to describe the incredible levels of compassion the staff have here. I have never been let down by my team in the Diabetes Centre.
When I was little I had meningitis and was very poorly. I went to Birmingham Children's hospital to start with and they looked after me extreamly well. My mom and dad were given accommodation to stay in while I was getting better even though we only live forty five minutes away. They were also given all the support they needed while and over the years I have been receiving treatment there.
BCH is a fantastic hospital. It is certainly dated but this did not affect my daughters care or our experience in anyway. Our only "gripe" is that they could not provide us with accomodation so we had to stay in a nearby hotel. But that was only because we were there for just a week at a time and weren't considered long term.
birmingham childrens hospital is really clean and nice hospital
we have not stayed in the ward yet but have been to a few clinics and looked round the ward we will be on when the time is right ..mr salanki (neuro/ward 10) and paula the play worker have made clinic visits and a ward visit alot less stressfull for my child and me and as we both dislike hospitals they had a heck of a job achieving this
very good hospital work miracles everyday
all staff were effecient, proffessional, running to time, polite, respectful.
My Grandson was treated over a period of three years at this hospital and both his parents and grandparents were always treated with great respect from all of the medical staff. Most importantly, my grandson recieved the greatest of care and we will always be grateful for the treatment received and the way that the staff responded and listened to our questions and gave truthful answers.
