Ian and all staff were great. Getting home and coping on my own was very difficult. Having someone to assess would have helped but costs would not allow which I also understand.

Thank you for your positive comments comments regarding the staff. We would like to reassure you that in no way would NHS funding issues affect the care and safety of our patients. All our surgical patients attend for preoperative assessment prior to surgery. Normally any issues with aftercare are raised at this point and if required we would refer to other appropriate healthcare professionals. All our surgical patients are advised that they must have someone with them after surgery for at least 48hrs. If we feel that appropriate aftercare is not in place the operation would be postponed until care is available. In this instance, for this patient, we appear not to have identified a concern. Unfortunately without more information we are unable to clarify this fully

Everything was excellent - I couldn't have been treated better. All the people that dealt with me were friendly and very professional. Well done - you have a great team!

Appointments were never cancelled. The staff at Daventry Hospital were amazing and very reassuring during surgery. Staff at Battlehouse always helpful. Mr Reilly was always very cheerful and put me at ease during surgery.
