Every time I have come to Barnet Hospital I am struck by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff . I have always been provided with excellent care and plenty of information, even at my darkest times. I would always recommend Barnet hospital and I am thankful I live close by and that such a good hospital is my local one.

This week I've had to come into contact with a few departments at Barnet Hospital - the Early Pregnancy Unit, the Day Surgery Unit and the anaesthetists, surgeons and ward nurses across the site.
I was extremely upset and scared about having to have surgery but I was treated so kindly, and with such dignity and support that my lasting thought was 'I have to write a review'. For a week that could be full of negativity and sadness, I was made to feel much more positive by the words and actions of the staff at the hospital. I can't complain about anything - I really commend them for doing their jobs so well.

My grandson was born last October and was in starlight NICU dept - exceptional care . My other daughter gave birth last week in the birthing centre at Barnet again exceptional . Had to attend A&E with 10day old baby yesterday the nurses and Doctors were again fantastic and we were seen within 10 minutes of arrival . Having attended A&E with kids on previous occasions the waiting times were long however once it was explained that unles a child is under 6 months or very unwell they are seen by an A &E doctor rather than by a Paediatrician I can now appreciate why it takes so long . It is frustrating having to wait for a long time however once you are seen I do believe that the Doctors do their best

I give birth in this hospital and it was a good experience, I don't have any complains about it!!! I would totally recommend it!!!
