Ashtead have been great during my care. The hospital is well run at the front desk, clean and modern with comfy seats too! Organisation of consultations and surgery were prompt and communications friendly. During my daycase, I was quickly shown to my clean and tidy private bedroom which was relaxed and spacious. Soon after I was shown an extensive menu for a hospital. I was a little sad I did not stay for dinner and breakfast after finishing my sandwich and pot of tea that came with a side salad and crisps. The food is excellent and delivered to your room as soon as you are awake and comfy. Little elements like the leg compression machine made for a comfier stay. All nurses were friendly and efficient, popping in often to check up on me and carry out tasks. I was offered the choice to stay overnight if I was not comfortable or ready to go home, I chose to go home but it is such a breath of fresh air to be given the choice. I was discharged with a little tote bag holding a health pack with all documents and postcare leaflets I needed. Thoroughly recommend this hospital. Made everything stress free during a painful time.
