I am more familiar with St Peters Hospital in Chertsey both as a patient and as a volunteer than Ashford, so was very pleasantly surprised by the quieter and more relaxed atmosphere at Ashford. I could not fault any of the medical care or general "looking after" care on Dickens Ward, and all the staff were without exception caring, responsive and understanding.
