I’ve always had the best possible treatment and care in all departments
Excellent care all round. Couldn't fault it all. I was very anxious at the time but my mind was put at rest with the staff in the day surgery unit.
Wonderful NHS they are life savers.
Dickens ward was exceptional.
Caring. Efficient. Listened to my queries and requests
It made a huge difference being able to speak to a professional regarding Long Covid. The open ended support and follow-up classes will provide reassurance and help with the recovery. The Physiotherapist, Sarah, was very knowledgeable, empathetic and reassuring.
The wait time for the appointment was too long, especially as I have been unable to work. I was passed from pillar to post (from Ashford to St Peters) chasing the appointment originally, and administration staff never called back as promised; eventually, I gave up trying in the end. Then in October, out of the blue, I received a phone call from the physiotherapy department in Ashford, asking if I still needed an appointment. The administration side of the NHS is far from efficient, but the physiotherapy appointment was excellent. The most frustrating thing of all is staff not calling back when promised. It doesn't take much to write a note as a reminder and then call back with an update, regardless of the outcome.
Friendly helpful staff and pleasant surroundings
All the staff working in the hospital were kind, polite and very helpful.
When asked where to go they would volunteer to take you, but their directions were perfect so it wasn’t necessary. A very friendly and clean hospital.
Not sure how the care could be improved as I felt it was excellent
Thank you
Dickens Ward ...there for both my hip and my knee replacement. Had very good care there.staff very supportive and caring. The whole experience was excellent.
The care from Gina was exceptional - even took the time to explain how to strap my ankle twice and was very thorough in explaining ALL the exercises.
