My first time at A&E in 50 years. It was very busy, but every member of staff I dealt with was positive, cheerful, caring and attentive. Well done everyone.
I've had to spend too much time at Addenbrooke's in recent months but as a result have become an ardent cheerleader for the NHS and the hospital. EVERYONE we have seen - doctors, nurses, HCAs, porters - has been excellent. They have been calm, kind, considerate, patient and professional while always smiling. I have never felt rushed, have had everything explained carefully and been treated as if I was the only patient they had. Thank you to them an d I hope they get the billions promised because they deserve it.
Wonderful Hospital, I live over 100 miles away from hospital, but have been a patient for the last 27 years, am very grateful for the wonderful care I receive.
Amazing hospital - saved my life on several occasions!
I have been attending the hospital for nearly ten years following a diagnosis for cancer.
The staff in every department I have attended have treated me with the utmost courtesy and the treatment I have received has been first class. It puts my mind at rest
knowing that at every visit my doctor will listen to any problems I am experiencing and offer help. I can also contact a dedicated person if necessary and receive advise.
The hospital is world class always striving to make improvements.
My daughter is a HCA in Addenbrooks has been for 20 plus years.
In 1991 she had a liver transplant performed by Prof Calne, she kept it for 20 years.
Seven years ago she had a Viseral Ttransplant Liver ,Pancreas, Kidney, Portal Vein.
She has recently been advised that due to illness she has to retire.
Had it not been for Addenbrooks and the staff in it she would not have survived to be able to retire
She loves her job and has always says it has been her lifeline.
So we have nothing but the highest praise for the hospital and its staff .
My care at Addenbrookes has been and continues to be first class. I am currently under Orthopaedics and Oncology departments.
I came to addenbrookes yesterday with my mother who has dementia to see Dr Thamir Abraham she has multiple pre-cancerous areas and leg ulcer he was so kind to my mother and very caring it would be lovely if all doctors were like him
Very great hospital
I think that Addenbrooke's operates brilliantly and I am lucky to have such a forward thinking hospital as my local hospital
