Sorry - I think this question is leading and should be rephrased. It should encourage all comments not just positive ones.
I have no complaints at the moment (I have had in the past) but if I had I would feel that such comments were not welcome.
Very very hot hospital!
great experience and ALL staff are helpful and polite.
Everyone is very polite and friendly.
Probably the best hospital in the country. Simple as that
Having been in A&E this week with a family member I feel compelled to write a review. I have one word for our visit, outstanding. My loved one was treated with respect, kindness and the utmost care by every member of staff. I get very upset when people who know no better, redicule. I can only give my opinion but I felt every patient present understood they would receive the best treatment possible. The staff give 100% while being so professional and caring . I cannot thank the staff enough. A little post note ....even with so many patients the toilets were spotless.
I was brought in to A&E and kept overnight. Not a single member of staff was anything but fantastic. Everybody was kind considerate and professional.
My care was first rate and I’m incredibly grateful for my treatment.
You are a credit to the NHS
The overall experience of being an outpatient at Addenbrookes is amazing. As well as being a patient, I am also an employee and the overriding desire of the Trust is to put the patient experience and outcome at the very forefront of its thinking. The clinical and medical teams are exceptional, caring and reliable.
The Teenage and Young Adult Unit at Addenbrooke's is brilliant. Such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere; where families and patients are encouraged to talk to each other. The unit is fully supported by the Teenage Cancer Trust so things like wifi and TVs are provided; so important for the teenagers undergoing cancer treatment. The support staff are all brilliant and have been a fantastic resource not only for my daughter undergoing treatment but for myself too. There is counselling, support in both the Oasis and Maggie's, activities for the patients who are actively encouraged to get out of their rooms and meet up. The unit itself is bright and airy with views across Cambridge city centre from the day unit and across the meadows from the rooms. The day unit is great. All in all, from a parents perspective watching your child go through cancer is hard enough, but this unit is there and does support you and allows you to make that journey knowing you are not the only one.
Made to feel very welcome and put at ease by the staff
