I had my second cataract surgery on the 6th October the nurses and staff were wonderful treated me so well , my surgery went smoothly , unfortunately the hospital had a power cut just as I was finished , I hope they were able to resume .

I had cataract surgery today , I was very nervous but I was put at ease from start to finish , the staff and nurses etc were so lovely at all times so helpful and professional Mr Mr j Mathews did the surgery such a nice man and so skilled I would certainly recommend the hospital to anyone I know I don't think it needs improvement

I had a cataract operation yesterday at Abergele Hospital's Stanley Eye Unit - the other eye was done here in 2015. The skill and care of the surgeons, nurses and other staff are exemplary. Efficient, friendly and totally professional. We are SO fortunate to have these people and this unit in our community. Top class NHS service! PS I can now see the screen to write this with both eyes - just 24 hours after the op. Wow!
