I had a hard time trying to get an appointment, the system has been changed. but i wasn't disappointed when i actually went for my appointment. The new doctor (dr brett?)was ever so helpful. He talked me through everything, explained my illness and done this with empathy. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your comment which will be passed to Dr Burnett. We are sorry for the telephone problems, we are hoping to have a new system installed in September which we trust will alleviate many of the shortcomings of the previous system.

i was told that an appointment was made for by the nurse , but later iwas ill before this appointment was attend but wanted to make another appointment for my illness with the online service , but when i logged in i could not have one because i allready had one with the nurse ??????????? but i wanted to see a doctor but no luck only one appointment allowed this is crazy and not favourable to the patient ............also my wife is disabled and every time we attend the practice all the disabled parking , is always full of cars without a parking badge why dont you have a camera takiing picture then send them a £80 fine for using the spaces //////////////////////,, as for ringing the doctors for a appointment i might as well try to ring david cameron .i am sure he will answer first , you need to update your phoning for an appointment asap ................

Unfortunately the online booking system only allows for 1 appointment at a time and this is out of our control. Our phone lines are busy but this morning for example (Monday morning) there have been lots of times when there have been no calls coming in and as I am replying to this the lines have been clear for at least 10 minutes. Your comments regarding the parking will be passed to NHS Property Services who are responsible for the car park. The building and car park are used by several services. i.e. Social Services, Midwives, Health Visitors etc and not just by our patients. I had an appointment on 2 February with a brilliant nurse. Really caring an professional so on that terms I would recommend my family an friends. I took my two year old in yesterday to see a doctor worst mistake ever. I had concerns about my son hence why I took him so told the doctor the concern I had. Reply was there is nothing wrong with him. Doctor didn't even examine him. Instead when I said well there must be a problem doctor asked well what is it you would like us to do. This doctor has asked me this question before. I asked her as a mother what would she to she said nothing. When I said to her that if I go home an in five years time I get told that there is something seriously wrong with him I would be really pissed off. She said there is no need to use that language. There was no professionalism or care. Surly as a doctor she should of said look honestly there is nothing to worry about, take him home if you are still concerned bring him back I will then refer you to see someone just for peace of mind To be honest I apologise for my language but was fuming all day. Let's put it this way I won't ever go an see her again won't even recommend her to family or friends. Takes one person like that to give the practice a bad name. I appreciate doctors are busy an over worked etc but the practices shouldn't take on extra patients if they can't look after the ones they have. I do feel the level of care an professionalism has gone down

Unfortunately sometimes our Doctors run over time. This can be for a number of reasons including being called out to an emergency or having to spend more time with a vunerable patient.
