It is virtually impossible to get a doctors appointment here. Being left on hold for an hour to be told that there is no appointments and to call back tomorrow. When working full time it is not possible to be on hold for this amount of time every morning. Such an inadequate doctors surgery. I appreciate that times are busy but many illnesses will go untreated/ missed due to the fact you are unable to get appointments. Very disappointed. If I could move to another surgery I would.

Have more available appointments. Make appointments easier to book. Be more understanding to those who work full time and are unable to be on hold all morning.

I have tried to make appointments on the 2nd and 3rd of September being No26 and 22nd in the queue I am not prepared to hang on the phone indefinitely,I rang on the 4th September for a medication review No4 in the queue waited 22mins for call to be answered,I think it would be quicker to see Boris Johnson than a doctor,I think blaming the NHS is now getting a bit tiresome,excuses are easy it would seem action is not.

it was virtually impossible to get an appointment by telephone. something really really needs to be done about this, as it adds to the stress on the patient.

We are sorry to hear that you have had difficulties in getting appointments. With many local GP practices closing, we are finding out services under increasing pressure, and cannot offer as many appointments as we would like. However, we are working to create triage systems and innovate ways for patients to access the care they need when they need it without reducing the quality of our service.

The receptionists are all pleasant to start with seem to act as bouncers, after a while. Never answer the phone which I have seen just sitting there no wonder I have to go personally to get an appointment.

We are about to upgrade our telephone system which will allow easier access by telephone and will be setting up the UK’s first digital health project in the near future. We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the practice. Over the period in which you have been with us, the field has changed significantly, and we are under much greater pressure to deliver than ever before, with less resources to do so. Barring Dr Astles and Dr Elleis the surgery is not great. The rest of the doctors, seem to be a trifle condescending and money conscious.
