This is a small practice with only 2 GPs and one practice nurse. Pre-booked appointments are understandably hard to get, and the system of queuing outside before 8.30 am for the open surgery can be hard on the elderly, frail or more seriously ill, especially in winter/bad weather. Both doctors are friendly, helpful and fully open about care and treatment issues. The practice nurse is also very helpful and accommodating. Overall a very good experience.

The staff are very helpful and keen to smooth over any problems you may have. They are all polite and considerate. The practice operates an open surgery each morning which means you can always get to see a doctor when you need to, unlike some practices which operate booking only appointments so,you may have to wait 3 weeks or more for an appointment. The evening surgery is operated on a booking system. Both doctors are easy to talk to and are extremely helpful.

The surgery is bright and clean, the receptionists are always cheerful and smiling. Only criticism would be that the phone seems to be always engaged when calling but be patient and keep re-dialing, you will get through in the end. And the surgery has an 881 exchange number (Chorlton) and not an expensive 0845 number!
