I just wAnted to say that every time I have need for Gp services the whole experience from start to finish is exemplary. The reception staff are super helpful, the doctors, pharmacist, and nurses are all brilliant. I can’t recommend this surgery highly enough. I hear horror stories from other people how they can’t even get an appointment for 6 weeks in other places yet I can almost always get one on the day, have doctors and pharmacist bending over backwards to get me the information and medication I need. I recently couldn’t get hold of a prescription item for HRT and the in-house pharmacist rang around to find where had it and then the doctor (this time DR Tran) quickly sent over the prescription and text me to let me know they’d done it. The pharmacy was just about to close and I was able to whizz down and collect before they did. The receptionist (Nadia) had been the linchpin that made it all happen and even quickly looked up what time the pharmacy closed for me. You are all superstars, thank you so much! Keep it up, we all really appreciate your hard work and dedication

You are doing a great job! The only thing I would change is add a category to this list to include menopause!

I wish to share feedback to Dr Patel. He really is a great Dr and saved me when I really needed it! He signed me off sick which was the best thing for me at the time despite me not seeing it. I also had the surgery call me for a follow up to check in which was really amazing and shows how seriously my mental health was taken. I am really grateful for the care received and it made the world of difference for someone in a very vulnerable place struggling lots. Please pass this onto Dr Patel and also the GP who referred for originally for my ADHD assessment.

I just sent this via a Google Review but think you guys need to make sure you know how great the reception staff is. Had about 5 interactions with the GP and they all have been amazing. "With more than 10 years of different and horrible experiences with a few GP's around London, Whyteleafe GP have been amazing, efficient and very polite on every interaction I had, especially with reception staff, as I never spent too long waiting on the phone, they have been always accommodating and very kind. Doctors were also amazing of course but I feel that reception staff don't get the praise they deserve. Thanks guys - very happy!"

There is a lack of honesty/clarity at this practice. The doctors are sympathetic to your face, giving the impression that they care/want to help. However, they do not tell you what you are really thinking/what they will put on your medical record. I mentioned to Dr Haider that my agoraphobia was worsening (I am unable to go out unaccompanied). In the past 2 years, I have only left my home (accompanied) to go the GPs/hospital appointments. He agreed that this is a problem and suggested I seek help myself. On my medical form it says that I do not have a problem going out, as I am able to go to the GP surgery. I would rather Dr Haider had been honest and said this to my face, rather than let me believe that he understood.

Suggested improvements
It would be better if the GPs told you what they are really thinking (rather than what they think you want to hear). That way you would know what to expect going forward.

I have always had a good experience once I'm in the surgery but getting an appointment is literally impossible. I try to call the phone line from 08.00am on the dot or 14.00pm on the dot as advised by the reception team but the phone lines are just engaged and I cannot even get on hold. I have tried to call the surgery at 8am for weeks on end before managing to get through. Today inhave found a lump and just cannot get through. If I call 111 they will only tell me to keep trying my GP but I have no idea when i will be able to get through.

Suggested improvements
Have more phone lines or more people being able to hold
