Rude male doctors especially a new doctor that’s started over a year ago from the Sheffield area that likes to call and bully patients. Rude receptionists on the most part. Rubbish and inconvenient appointments “system” totally useless diabetes nurse whose all about pushing pills and refused to offer dietary advice misguides people to start on statins . This practice Won’t offer help to patients waiting to quite smoking. Rude practice manager won’t deal with patients conserns. After contacted about a concern over a rude doctor. Absolute disgrace and was cowardly removed from practice without proper reason given! Unprofessional and horrible people. Absolute Nightmare to deal with and made me feel absolutely physically sick to the stomach to visit!! Not wish this doctors practice on my worst enemy! !

Suggested improvements
Close you’re practice. Employ more empathetic drs and nurses and retrain most of you’re reception staff.

My husband and i moved to Armthorpe 7 months ago and have had a few reasons to see either a doctor or nurse since then, a result of our advancing years unfortunately. We have both been extremely impressed with everyone we have come into contact with at the surgery from the reception in person and on the telephone to nurses and doctors alike. We really cannot speak highly enough of the surgery. Plenty of time allotted for each appointment, never felt rushed or "fobbed off". Excellent. Thankyou.

Response from White House Farm Medical Centre

Thank you for your response, feel free to contact us directly if you wish to discuss this further. We are very sorry to hear that you have had to wait such a long time to be seen. This is an unusual situation and we always attempt to keep our patients informed of any delays. There are many things that can impact on the waiting times experienced. These are usually due to emergencies cropping up or unexpected delays due to a patient requiring more time than they have actually been booked in for. We apologise if you have had to experience such a delay and always do our best to keep your waiting time down to a minimum.
