It's almost impossible to get appointment, you have to call at 8am and after listening very long automatic message you have to wait in the queue, f.e. you are 23 in the queue after 30 min of waiting there is not appointment left. Absolutely agree with another opinion: "Shocking surgery should be closed down and receptionist thing they are doctors or even god, rude and not trust worthy NHS should take action before it cost life's. Start treating patients with respect, 3 or 4 weeks to see a doctor or dial 999 we are all under pressure if you can't hand it move on and let someone who can wait 2 weeks to get a phone appointment with doctors it's a back door to going private health.

Suggested improvements
Change all reception staff, and stop this useless stupid same-day 8am appointment booking system. Doesn't work it's not possible to see a doctor when you need it 3 or 4 days after could be too late.

unfortunately this health centre appears to have more patients than it can reasonbly cope with, you have always had to phone at 8 am sharp and then wait in a queue and hope you are lucky and get an appointment. the latest addition to thid fiasco is that now when you phone you have to listen to a long winded recorded message suggesting you go to a pharmacist first . on three previous occasions where i have done just that the pharmacists dont want to know and suggest you need to see the doctor making it a complete waste of time.; time to get this ludicrous situation sorted out.

Some of the doctors don't even know what has been the case history of the patient. My veins were split while doing blood sampling and the area was inflamed and remained sore for many days. The receptionist is completely out of mind, overloaded with work and confused most of the time. She just gives appointment with doctors that don't specialise in the problem we describe. Sometimes, going to the GP just seems to be a useless exercise.

I know this is picky but I don't wish to have to justify my request to see a doctor to the receptionist. I might find it difficult to discuss the issue already before the obstructive and quite patronising receptionist opens her mouth, which might just put me off altogether. Reign them in please. Or at least work on the attitude of them. They are office staff and did not spend years training to be a GP.
