I went for an appointment with a Doctor. This was my first appointment with this particular doctor since I was threatened that I would be asked to leave the surgery because I had complained earlier . From the very onset, the doctor was extremely rude. A few examples of this were that I said that I have a certain problem and if they could have a look. They said they had already completed their time (which was less than 5 minutes) and if I ve had a problem for 6 months then I could wait another 2 weeks. My answer to this was that they are no one to decide. They were extremely rude. I had to almost plead to get a health check. The other doctors in the surgery are polite but this doctor is probably one of the rudest people I have met. They were completely dis interested. No surprises- I get a letter a few days later saying I am no longer in the surgery. After 3 calls, i finally managed to get through the Practise Management. I said that I have a list of issues and know at least 1 more person who has faced issues with this doctor. Their response was that they will not be interested in listening to my complaint because I am no longer in the surgery. I had to remind them that the first point of contact has to be the Practice Management ( which they weren't aware of) and since the issues occurred when I was a patient, it is their responsibility to investigate. They just kept on saying that I was made to leave the surgery because of my rude behaviour. The doctor knew I would complain about them because I asked for their details from the receptionist and they know they would be in a problem so decided to throw me out of the surgery instead. The Practice Management did finally agree to take my complaint if I send it by post.. I have put in a formal complaint against the doctor. Please join this surgery if you want to be insulted and forced to leave the surgery if you complain. I am worried that after this review my wife and child will be getting a letter of being removed from the surgery but i do have to make people and NHS aware of the awful service they provide and the way they treat patients if a patient decides to complain.My wife has various issues and this surgery is the closest to our house and the doctors except for this particular doctor and the Practice Management are receptive and courteous

Phoned Wednesday afternoon with query re hearing test. Appointment with dr 9am next day. Excellent service. Also surgery has walk-in sessions with dr 1 hour each day. Brilliant team, efficient caring and skillful.

I would like to say how helpful Janine (Practice Nurse) has been. I have been seeing her for many years and she is always friendly, professional and easy to talk to.
